Position Overview

South Coast Medical Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our innovative telehealth team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, while providing ongoing consultation to formulate effective pre-crisis and crisis management strategies.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely completion of all required reports and records.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools collaboratively with the clinical team to enhance the quality of care delivered to clients.
  • Develop and implement positive behavior support plans in coordination with multidisciplinary teams and programs, focusing on client-centered outcomes.
  • Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the clinic’s standards of care.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and relevant service systems, cooperating effectively with state agencies and community organizations to improve client access to resources.
  • Establish and nurture communication channels to meet contractual obligations while promoting the organization's mission throughout the community.
  • Identify and develop meaningful partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies to enhance service delivery and secure additional funding sources.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by attending relevant conferences, classes, and meetings to stay updated in the field of mental health counseling.
  • Uphold and promote the agency's mission, values, and philosophy in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Assist with various tasks assigned by the Clinic Director that align with your qualifications and the clinic’s goals.

Qualifications
