We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for a full-time position in Annapolis, Maryland. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work in a flexible setting that promotes work-life balance. The scheduled working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling you to maintain regular hours while actively engaging with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Engage clients in therapeutic conversations to help them navigate various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and grief.
• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with each client's personal values and unique circumstances.
• Establish a trustworthy rapport with clients, promoting a therapeutic alliance that fosters openness and a willingness to work through difficult issues.
• Implement effective therapeutic interventions to facilitate the achievement of client goals, employing various modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or narrative therapy.
• Work collaboratively with fellow clinicians, mental health professionals, and case managers to ensure an integrated approach to client care that addresses all facets of an individual’s well-being.
• Provide immediate support and intervention for clients experiencing crises, ensuring they receive the timely care necessary to stabilize their situation.
• Continuously seek professional development by staying informed about the latest research and treatment methodologies in areas like trauma-informed care, family dynamics, and adolescent therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Unto Life, you will work with a diverse client population ranging from individuals seeking personal growth to families in need of guidance through complex relational issues. Your caseload may include clients dealing with the effects of traumatic experiences, individuals facing mental health challenges, couples seeking to improve their relationship dynamics, and families looking for constructive strategies to enhance communication and connection.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Current licensure to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Maryland.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to create, implement, and evaluate treatment interventions effectively.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, enabling rapport-building with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
• Capability to work independently while also thriving in a team-focused environment.
• A solid understanding of relevant ethical standards, confidentiality, and legal issues pertaining to therapy.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of direct clinical experience working with clients in a therapeutic setting.
• Experience with a range of therapeutic approaches and modalities is highly valued, particularly those applicable to couples counseling and family therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

Compensation and Benefits
