Job description

Job Title: Intake Care Senior Representative
Job Location: Remote
Job Duration: 05 Months Contract (possible extension)
Pay rate: $21.25/Hr. on W2
Schedule Notes:

  • 100% Remote
  • Training Schedule is 8:30am - 5:00pm CST (for about the first six weeks)
  • Ongoing Schedule after training is 10:30am - 7:00pm CST.
  • Candidates can be located in any US time zone as long as they can commit to the hours needed.
Duties:
  • Delivers specifically delegated Utilization Management tasks assigned by a supervisor.
  • Assigns client to appropriate staff members or behavioral health network provider for assessment and counseling. Serves as initial contact for clients and their eligible dependents requesting services.
  • Responsible for customer service and relevant standards such as telephone response time.
  • May make referrals within stated limits.
  • Supports and assists with training for employees.
  • May provide guidance around procedures and workflows.
  • Completes day-to-day Intake Care tasks without immediate supervision but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members.
  • Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues.
  • Resolves non-routine issues escalated from more junior team members.
Skills:
  • Customer Service experience
  • Prior experience working in a patient focused mental health environment preferred
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive image to external customers
  • Candidate must possess superb interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective listening and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Intuitive technical capabilities with the ability to quickly understand and apply working knowledge on several proprietary systems
  • Independent problem-solving skills
  • Able to excel and/or prior successful experience in a virtual team environment
  • Strong time management skills
