The Precise Systems Remote Technical Trainer will be responsible for developing and conducting technical end-user training programs for the NAVAIR Acquisition Management System (AMS) tool suite on behalf of a government customer. The candidate will be responsible for both the education and use of our AMS tool sets as well as how to manage visualizations/reports within the system. The candidate will determine training objectives, develop high quality training materials, and provide varied format end-user training sessions. The audience will include people with a wide range of computer skills and educational levels and vary in size from just a few people in a private setting, to symposium size audiences. The Technical Trainer will interface regularly with technical SME's (e.g., developers, web designers, system administrators, and application experts). This position may allow for remote work; however, employees must be able and willing to travel and provide in-office or on-site support as required by customer requirements, project demands, or business needs. The candidate needs to possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Duties:
Course Development:
  • Develop high-quality training plans and course schedule
  • Design and implement training programs that are goal-focused, scalable, and adaptable for both in-person and distance learning environments
  • Translate broad training objectives into effective, structured course plans and schedules
  • Deliver training programs / modules with adherence to a prearranged training plan
  • Ensure alignment of course content with organizational needs and learner profiles
  • Develop high quality engaging, outcome-driven course materials such as handouts, outlines, syllabi, and agendas that support learner success

End-User Training:
  • Deliver in-depth technical end-user training utilizing various formats to include conventional instructor led demonstration; computer lab-based; distance/virtual formats; and 1 on 1 individual session
  • Tailor training techniques to maximize learner engagement, incorporating interactive and creative approaches
  • Continuously refining training delivery based on user feedback, learning outcomes, and evolving technologies

Training Materials Development:
  • Collaborate directly with technical subject matter experts and government stakeholders to gather accurate information and translate complex concepts into clear, actionable training content and support materials.
  • Support the development of end-user application guides and supporting materials compliant with style, structure, and content rules and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the management and governance of training materials through version control and change management processes

Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years' training or education experience, including experience with training users on web-based IT systems.
  • Training module development and delivery
  • Training materials and courseware development

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR 1 additional year of experience for each year of non-degree.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $60,000 -$70,000 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
