Job Description

As an Account Development Manager - Datacenter you will acquire new customers and drive revenue growth by seeking out new business opportunities. Prospects likely to include mid-tier companies, multinational corporates and similar. You will develop and implement account acquisition strategies to identify and build relationships with relevant decision makers and influencers within the prospect organization and to enable business development. You will have knowledge of the product line and its applications and can provide multi-faceted solutions for our customers. You will report to the Industry Sales Manager, Discrete.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will establish clear objectives for each sales call or meeting. You will tailor standard materials to make presentations to decision makers and influencers within the customer organization. You will ask relevant questions to gather information, to evaluate the customer's level of interest, and to respond to areas requiring further information or explanation.

  • You will configure a product and services solution and associated contractual terms that meet the prospect's needs, taking input from relevant internal specialists. Present the solution to prospect representatives and negotiate agreement within a pre-defined range of commercial parameters.

  • You will collaborate internally and work as the prospect champion in cross-functional teams to build external customer relationships.

  • You will develop a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at business sector events. Obtain market intelligence and enhance the visibility and reputation of the organization, its products, and its services.

  • You will maintain and renew a deep knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards.

  • You will participate in assessment and development planning activities and formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visa, now or in the future, for this job opening.

  • A valid driver's license.

  • The ability to travel up to 40% of the time to customers.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or operations management

  • Typically requires 5+ years experience working with IOT, IIOT, software and annual recurring revenue/subscription model.

  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technology

  • Experience selling to senior management and executive levels, focusing on outcomes and demonstrating tangible economic value of our products and information software.

  • Experience working with all levels of a manufacturing enterprise - CxO, operations leadership, technical leadership, plant leadership and OEM machine builder.

  • Experience selling and working into datacenter clients.

For this role, the Total Target Compensation is from $142,240.00 - $213,360.00 of which 80% is base salary and 20%is variable. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
