We are seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Lead Collectibles Buyer to source sports cards, trading card games, and other collectible products for our platform.

This role combines deep market expertise, vendor relationship management, negotiation, purchasing strategy, and data analysis. The ideal candidate understands both the collector community and the financial side of buying inventory, including pricing trends, liquidity, product demand, condition, and resale potential.

This is a hands-on role that will involve regular travel to card shows, conventions, vendors, shops, and other sourcing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to card shows, conventions, shops, and vendor locations to purchase inventory.

  • Source sports cards, TCGs, sealed products, singles, and collections.

  • Identify emerging products, players, sets, and collectible categories.

  • Work with inventory, fulfillment, finance, product, and marketing teams.

  • Help improve purchasing processes, standards, and pricing strategies.

  • Assist with inventory management by tracking on-hand inventory, inputting new inventory into internal tools, and ensuring inventory records remain accurate and up to date.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience buying, selling, sourcing, or evaluating collectibles.

  • Expert knowledge of sports cards.

  • Expert knowledge of Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Riftbound, and other major TCGs.

  • Strong interest in collectibles beyond cards.

  • Experience negotiating deals and managing vendor relationships.

  • Strong spreadsheet, tracking, and data-analysis skills.

  • Good judgment around pricing, margins, demand, and purchasing risk.

  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle high-value inventory.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

  • Willingness to travel up to 60%, with heavier travel during peak show seasons.

  • Availability for occasional evenings and weekends.
