Description
Blue Mantis is seeking a high-performing Account Executive responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing and growing existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise accounts. This role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them align business and technology objectives through Blue Mantis' portfolio of solutions, including Managed Services, Professional Services, Product Solutions, and ServiceNow offerings.
The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with a proven history of exceeding quotas, building strong client relationships, and identifying strategic opportunities within target accounts. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, consultative selling skills, technical understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities within assigned territory and target accounts.
  • Manage and expand existing customer relationships through proactive account management and strategic planning.
  • Serve as a trusted business advisor, leveraging industry knowledge and Blue Mantis solutions to address customer needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at all levels of client organizations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend business and technology solutions that align with customer objectives.
  • Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and funnel management.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Technical Support, Project Management, Marketing, and Leadership teams to support customer success.
  • Lead and coordinate vendor and partner-related initiatives, projects, and activities within assigned accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, business reviews, and executive summaries to customers and stakeholders.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop business cases that support new opportunities and solution adoption.
  • Execute agreements and ensure contractual commitments are fulfilled.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of customer activity, opportunities, forecasts, and account information in CRM systems.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor, partner, and channel relationships to support revenue growth.
  • Participate in industry events, training programs, certifications, and professional development activities.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Preferred
  • Experience selling within the Managed Services, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, Digital Transformation, or ServiceNow ecosystems.
  • Experience in financial services markets a plus (IE: TD Bank, Scotia Bank, RBC, BMC)
  • Experience working with channel partners and technology vendors.
  • Relevant industry sales certifications and ongoing professional development.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
  • General office environment in one of the Blue Mantis offices.
  • Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm.
  • Limited travel may be required.
