Key Responsibilities

As a remote licensed mental health counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting empathetic and client-centered individual counseling sessions via video chat.
• Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client's unique circumstances and needs.
• Formulating comprehensive and personalized treatment plans that reflect the therapeutic goals and progress of each client.
• Facilitating clients' understanding of their emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships to foster deeper insights.
• Monitoring and documenting client progress through systematic reviews and updates on therapeutic strategies.
• Supporting clients in cultivating healthy coping mechanisms and life skills throughout their therapy journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be providing mental health support to stable, low-acuity adults experiencing a variety of psychological challenges. These clients often seek to improve their overall emotional well-being, manage stress or anxiety, and enhance their daily functional capacities. You will play a vital role in equipping them with the tools necessary to navigate through their mental health journeys, ensuring they are supported and empowered.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is a prerequisite.
• Valid licensure is required; candidates must be fully licensed to practice independently without supervision in one of the following areas:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No disciplinary actions or limitations on your license will be accepted.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature are crucial for building rapport with clients.
• Proficient computer literacy to navigate telehealth platforms and maintain efficient communication.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in mental health counseling is highly preferred. Experience with diverse populations and various presenting issues will be beneficial in providing excellent care to our clients.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Additional benefits include:
