Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ethical and compassionate individual mental health counseling sessions through secure video chat platforms, ensuring a safe environment for all clients.
• Utilize evidence-based, solution-oriented treatment modalities tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that align with the client's goals and therapeutic needs.
• Guide clients in exploring their experiences, emotions, and interpersonal relationships, fostering growth and insight.
• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adapting strategies as necessary to encourage healthy coping mechanisms.
• Engage in regular collaborative peer supervision, keeping abreast of best practices and new developments in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Healthy Horizons Therapy LLC, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults presenting with a diverse array of mental health concerns. Your role is to support clients in building skills to enhance their quality of life, thus creating a significant positive impact in their mental wellness journey.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted professional license is required: LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. No provisional or limited licenses will be accepted.
• A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to therapy are essential for this role.
• Proficient computer skills to utilize the therapy platform and maintain client documentation efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, with a demonstrated ability to connect with clients and facilitate therapeutic progress.
• Experience with telehealth modalities and platforms is considered a plus.
• A background in working with clients facing low-acuity mental health issues is beneficial.
