This position is remote, offering flexibility to address the mental health needs of clients from various backgrounds. • Uphold professional standards of confidentiality and ethics as outlined by relevant professional associations, ensuring a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and dynamic group counseling sessions, tailoring approaches to meet the varied needs of clients, from students facing academic pressure to adults dealing with life transitions.
• Engage in weekly team meetings to discuss case management, share insights, and collaborate on treatment strategies, thereby enhancing the continuum of care.
• Conduct thorough treatment planning and regularly review client cases, employing evidence-based practices to support client progress and outcomes.
• Document progress notes promptly and efficiently after each session to maintain accurate client records and facilitate effective follow-up.
• Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to our team and clients' welfare.

The ideal candidate will work with a varied clientele, focusing on individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our clients include students from local colleges seeking support in managing academic stress, young adults transitioning to independence, and community members facing mental health challenges. As a mental health counselor, you will play a vital role in providing tailored interventions and developing supportive relationships that foster healing and personal growth.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Candidates must hold one of the following independent licenses: LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).
• Proficient in composing detailed progress notes post-session, with keen attention to clinical details and nuances that facilitate therapeutic effectiveness.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in community-based mental health settings, familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and a background in crisis intervention will be advantageous. Additionally, experience with group therapy facilitation and workshops is a plus, as it aligns with our organizational pathway for comprehensive care.

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
