Job description

Job DetailsJob Location: Remote - Indian Wells, CA 92210Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 SalaryMission The mission of HALO Precision Diagnostics is to Save Lives with Early Detection. At HALO, we believe every patient is unique—and their healthcare should be too. We are redefining early detection through precision diagnostics, innovative technology, and patient-first operations. As our organization continues to scale, our technology platform must evolve alongside our clinical and operational teams. We are seeking a Platform Product Manager who will ensure our platform remains aligned with how our teams actually work, enabling operational excellence while supporting future growth.  As HALO continues its transformation into a technology-first Precision Diagnostics-as-a-Service (PDaaS) organization, this role will help shape how technology drives business transformation, operational excellence, and long-term scalability across the enterprise. Position Overview HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking an experienced Platform Product Manager to own the strategic direction, operational alignment, and continuous improvement of the HALO platform. Unlike traditional product management roles focused on launching new products, this position is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of our existing platform across our clinical operations. The Platform Product Manager will serve as the primary bridge between Operations, Engineering, and Product Development, ensuring platform enhancements solve real-world operational challenges and support scalable workflows. This role requires someone who enjoys spending time with end users, understanding frontline workflows, translating business needs into technical requirements, prioritizing platform enhancements, and driving releases that create measurable operational value. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable observing Patient Navigators in the field, facilitating discussions with operational leaders, writing detailed product requirements, and partnering with software engineers to deliver high-quality platform improvements. Beyond understanding today\'s operational processes, this individual is expected to challenge existing ways of working, identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and modernize operations, and influence stakeholders toward technology-enabled solutions that create measurable long-term business value. Essential Responsibilities Platform Ownership \tOwn the lifecycle and roadmap of the HALO operational platform. \tDevelop and maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned with organizational goals. \tEvaluate enhancement requests and prioritize work based on operational impact, scalability, and strategic value. \tEnsure platform development aligns with business priorities rather than technical preferences alone. \tEstablish clear success metrics and continuously evaluate platform performance. \tDefine and communicate the long-term product vision and multi-quarter roadmap, balancing operational improvements with innovation, scalability, automation, and future business needs. \tEnsure platform capabilities are designed for long-term maintainability, scalability, and cross-functional reuse as HALO continues to grow. Operations Partnership \tBuild strong relationships with Patient Navigators, Account Operations Executives, clinical teams, and operational leadership. \tRegularly visit partner sites to observe workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. \tDevelop a deep understanding of how the platform is used in day-to-day operations. \tIdentify pain points, bottlenecks, and workflow inefficiencies and translate them into actionable platform improvements. \tServe as the voice of Operations throughout the product development lifecycle. \tChallenge existing workflows instead of simply digitizing current processes, identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization, automation, and AI-driven operational improvements. \tFacilitate product discovery workshops to uncover underlying business problems, validate assumptions, and align stakeholders around future-state solutions rather than current-state processes. \tBuild consensus across diverse operational and clinical stakeholders by effectively communicating product strategy, business value, and implementation trade-offs.  Product Development & Release Management \tTranslate operational needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. \tPartner closely with Engineering and external development partners throughout design, development, testing, and release cycles. \tManage release planning and ensure platform updates are aligned with business readiness. \tCoordinate user acceptance testing and validate enhancements prior to deployment. \tMonitor adoption and performance following releases and drive continuous improvement. \tPartner closely with Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Architects, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure solutions are intuitive, technically sound, and aligned with both business objectives and user experience. \tDrive product decisions using operational metrics, user feedback, analytics, and measurable business outcomes. \tEvaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and workflow automation opportunities that can improve operational efficiency and platform capabilities. \tDesign end-to-end platform capabilities with consideration for downstream impacts across clinical, laboratory, finance, patient navigation, and other operational functions. Pilot Programs & Platform Adoption \tLead implementation of new pilots, workflows, and operational initiatives. \tEnsure technology enables successful execution of new programs. \tGather user feedback during pilot deployments and rapidly incorporate lessons learned into future releases. \tPartner with Operations and Training teams to ensure successful adoption of platform enhancements. \tDevelop documentation and training materials supporting new functionality. \tPartner with operational leadership to develop change management strategies that drive successful adoption of new capabilities while minimizing disruption to frontline teams. \tMeasure adoption, operational efficiency, and business outcomes following deployments to ensure enhancements deliver intended value and continuously refine the platform based on measurable results. QualificationsRequired Qualifications \tBachelor\'s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. \t5+ years of Product Management, Platform Management, Business Systems, Healthcare Technology, or Operations experience. \tExperience managing SaaS or enterprise software platforms. \tProven ability to translate operational workflows into technical product requirements. \tExperience creating user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and product documentation. \tStrong understanding of Agile product development methodologies. \tExperience working directly with software engineers and development teams. \tExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. \tExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. \tComfortable working in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments. \tDemonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority. \tExperience balancing short-term operational priorities with long-term product strategy and platform evolution.  Preferred Qualifications \tHealthcare technology, digital health, diagnostics, laboratory, or clinical operations experience. \tExperience supporting operational software used by frontline healthcare staff. \tExperience with workflow optimization, process improvement, or Lean methodologies. \tFamiliarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar product management tools. \tExperience supporting software implementations or pilot deployments. \tKnowledge of patient workflow, scheduling systems, CRM platforms, or healthcare operations. \tExperience leading digital transformation, platform modernization, workflow automation, or AI-enabled operational initiatives. \tExperience applying product analytics and data-driven decision making to improve user adoption and operational performance. Why Join HALO? At HALO Precision Diagnostics, you\'ll help shape the technology powering one of the most innovative precision diagnostics organizations in healthcare. Your work will directly improve the experience of our employees, providers, and patients while enabling the company to scale efficiently and continue its mission of saving lives through early detection. This role offers the opportunity to influence not only what gets built, but how HALO evolves its operational model through technology. You will partner with leaders across clinical operations, engineering, and executive management to transform complex workflows into scalable digital capabilities that become a strategic advantage for the organization.
