The Role

We are looking for Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) Tutors who are passionate about education and driven to help students succeed in MCAT test preparation and medical school admissions. If you love mentoring, test prep, and empowering others, this is the role for you. You'll work one-on-one with students, create personalized MCAT study plans, and provide expert guidance to help them excel on every section of the MCAT exam. This is a part-time, remote, 1099 contract role that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Tutor students one-on-one on all sections of the MCAT exam
  • Tailor an MCAT test prep curriculum to students' needs
  • Track and analyze student progress and performance
  • Create and maintain project trackers to monitor MCAT preparation progress
  • Keep students' families up to date on academic progress and MCAT milestones
  • Be passionate about education and an expert MCAT tutor and thought leader for your students
Qualifications
  • Have a 4-year college degree (Bachelor's Degree or higher is required)
  • Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Have previously taken the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) (copy of official score report required)
  • 1–2 years of previous teaching or tutoring experience desired
  • Able to provide MCAT test preparation for the full exam and each section
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable teaching and coaching in a fully remote tutoring environment
  • A baseline MCAT score of 521+
