Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, establishing comprehensive treatment plans that address specific challenges and goals.

• Collaborate with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring their journey, and adjusting treatment strategies to ensure efficacy.

• Maintain meticulous documentation to satisfy ethical standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring clarity and precision in client records and treatment progress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives to refine clinical skills, engage with emerging therapeutic practices, and contribute to peer-to-peer learning opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Norton Mental Health and Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse demographic, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a wide range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a LMFT, LCSW, LCPC, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is essential for this position.
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to establish a positive therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting clients through their challenges.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseload and necessary administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within a private practice or outpatient setting, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices in providing remote therapeutic services.
• Experience with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a willingness to integrate new approaches into clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits

• This full-time position offers a competitive yearly salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, dependent on caseload and experience.
