• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs, including individual and family therapy sessions, to tailor treatment plans appropriately.
• Facilitate structured group therapy sessions, offering patients a supportive environment to share experiences and develop coping strategies.
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, ensuring that professional boundaries are respected and fostering trust.
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse cultural and psychological needs of patients from various backgrounds, employing sensitivity and understanding.
• Utilize psychosocial assessments and evidence-based methodologies to create and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at measurable outcomes.
• Record thorough documentation of individual and group therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans while adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards.
• Participate proactively in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings to discuss patient progress and strategize the best approaches for continued care.
• Collaborate in the development of comprehensive Discharge Aftercare Plans to support patients in their recovery journey.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health through continuous professional development, participation in workshops and seminars, and maintaining active professional affiliations.
• Demonstrate competence in providing care to a diverse patient population across various age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.

Your role will focus on a wide range of patients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and other DSM diagnoses. You will engage with children, transitional age youth, middle-aged adults, and seniors, tailoring your therapeutic approach to address the specific psychological and cultural needs of each demographic, thereby facilitating their recovery and improving their overall quality of life.

• A valid, unrestricted mental health license in the State of Massachusetts as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related mental health field is required.

• Prior experience working in a community health or outpatient mental health setting.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate group therapy sessions successfully.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective documentation and patient management.
