Contract Length: 06/2026-12/2026

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong marketing analytics foundation to lead execution of large-scale, high-impact marketing and projects. This role operates at the intersection of Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science, owning end-to-end campaign and project execution with a strong emphasis on operational rigor, technical excellence, and data-driven decision making.

Supporting multiple cross-functional development teams operating under a scrum methodology, this role is responsible for driving campaign launches, delivering centralized marketing performance reporting, maintaining roadmaps, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned to business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a marketing analytics background that enables them to not only manage projects but also meaningfully interpret performance data, partner with Decision Scientists, and translate insights into action, while communicating flawlessly with stakeholders at every level.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Own end-to-end execution of technical marketing launches and road maps from intake and planning through launch, QA, and performance analysis.

  • Manage day-to-day project planning activities through team standups, project management tooling, and regular project meetings — proactively eliminating and mitigating risks and blockers.

  • Translate campaign and product objectives into detailed technical implementation plans, aligning stakeholders on requirements, dependencies, and execution approach.

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans and roadmaps outlining scope, timelines, and dependencies to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

  • Initiate, schedule, and conduct project meetings with engineers, decision scientists, business analysts, and product managers; capture notes and follow up on action items.

  • Collaborate with teams to create and drive roadmap and tactical activities against key project objectives, ensuring projects are added, prioritized, and removed as appropriate.

  • Maintain visual executive-level roadmaps reviewed on at least a monthly cadence.

_Campaign Setup & Technical Execution _

  • Own campaigns end-to-end, including hands-on configuration within internal tools (targeting, pacing, surface selection, asset uploads, etc.).

  • Support end-to-end delivery of marketing workflow application development initiatives, partnering with Software Engineering, Product Management, and Data Engineering teams to define requirements, track progress, and ensure technical builds align to marketing operational needs.

  • Drive campaigns through approval workflows and coordinate launches with Engineering and Marketing Data Science teams.

  • Ensure accurate implementation and validation of campaign tracking, telemetry, and measurement systems prior to launch.

  • Document campaign configurations, technical specs, and testing plans.

  • Identify and drive tooling enhancements and process improvements to increase speed to market and reduce operational friction.

_Sprint Management & Agile Delivery _

  • Create and update sprints with backlog; work with the team to groom the backlog and hold sprint reviews.

  • Facilitate retrospectives and ensure agendas are submitted for all team meetings.

  • Ensure all project tracking documents are created, kept up to date, and that work status is updated weekly with tasks broken out and dependencies tracked.

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Creative, Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams to drive execution alignment and launch readiness.

_Quality Assurance & Optimization _

  • Conduct QA to validate campaign setup, targeting accuracy, and delivery performance.

  • Monitor live campaigns and partner with data science teams to deploy optimization strategies.

  • Own bug intake and triage during testing and launch, working closely with Engineering to drive timely resolution.

_Reporting & Continuous Improvement _

  • Leverage campaign adoption metrics, survey data, and performance analysis to evaluate project impact; apply marketing analytics knowledge to identify meaningful patterns and opportunities.

  • Partner with Decision Scientists and Data Engineers to deliver standard, centralized marketing performance reporting across brand sentiment and performance marketing projects.

  • Develop performance summaries and internal updates that highlight key insights, outcomes, and actionable recommendations — translating data into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Drive continuous improvement by connecting analytics findings to campaign strategy, targeting, and execution adjustments.

  • Ensure the team is working on the correct priorities; support resolution and mitigation of roadblocks and delivery risks.

  • Ensure expected timelines are maintained and transparently communicated across stakeholders.

  • Contribute to best practices, documentation, and process improvements across campaign and project operations.

How Success is Measured

  • Project tracking tools are kept current: all active projects created, statuses updated weekly, tasks broken out, and dependencies tracked and managed.

  • Roadmaps are maintained at least monthly, with accurate prioritization and executive-ready views.

  • Weekly team meetings are well-run: agendas submitted, notes captured, action items logged and followed up.

  • Marketing performance reporting is delivered in a standardized, centralized, and timely manner — with insights that are actionable for both marketing teams and Decision Scientists.

  • Projects are delivered on time with risks surfaced and resolved proactively.

  • Cross-functional stakeholders are aligned and consistently informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • 8+ years in technical project management, marketing project management, or marketing operations; background in marketing analytics strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with marketing measurement concepts — including campaign attribution, A/B testing interpretation, brand sentiment analysis, and conversion analytics — with the ability to fluently read and QA performance data, partner effectively with data practitioners, and translate findings into campaign and project decisions; experience with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and interpret marketing performance data — including campaign metrics, brand sentiment indicators, and conversion analytics — to inform project decisions.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while proactively communicating status, progress, and blockers.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms, campaign management tools, or project management tooling (e.g., Jira, Asana, or equivalent).

  • Strong experience partnering with Engineering, Data Science, Decision Science, and Analytics teams.

  • Experience working in agile/scrum environments; familiarity with sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and analytical concepts for non-technical audiences and maintain executive-level visibility.

  • Strong organizational skills, including planning, prioritization, and risk management.

  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

  • Quick learner with strong technical aptitude; comfortable operating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
