Sunrise Spring Counseling Center is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the flexibility of providing telehealth services, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own space. In this critical role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of mental health conditions, employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs.

This role is primarily remote, utilizing telehealth technology to reach clients effectively. You will engage with clients through secure video conferencing, individual and group sessions, and utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document and manage patient information. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate mental health status, identify presenting issues, and establish therapeutic goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities.
• Engage with clients through regular sessions, offering support and guidance as they navigate their mental health challenges.
• Create and facilitate group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and inclusive space for individuals to share experiences and strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in the EHR system.
• Collaborate with other health care providers, including psychiatrists, to offer a comprehensive care approach and make referrals as necessary.

Your work will encompass a varied demographic, working with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. You will use culturally responsive therapy techniques to meet clients where they are and provide supportive interventions that honor their identity and experience. A strong emphasis is placed on building rapport and establishing trust to facilitate effective therapy.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R is required.
• Minimum of four years of related clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, alongside cultural competence in therapy practices.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of connecting with diverse individuals effectively.
• Experience with electronic health record systems and proficiency with various computer applications.

• Experience utilizing both individual and group therapeutic techniques, demonstrating versatility in treatment approaches.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and protocols to conduct sessions securely and efficiently.
• Demonstrated commitment to upholding ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and confidentiality standards within the therapy setting.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
