The Healing Garden Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our telehealth team in Greeley, Colorado. Work Environment

This position operates within a remote telehealth framework, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in providing mental health services. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team remotely while playing an essential role in our comprehensive telehealth services, which include but are not limited to therapy sessions, assessments, and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to implement and coordinate mental health treatment plans both within and outside the organization.
  • Conduct mental health in-service training sessions for our medical, psychiatric, and security teams as required, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues.
  • Act as a critical intervention specialist during mental health emergencies that may arise, using de-escalation techniques to manage acute situations effectively.
  • Represent the organization during commitment hearings when necessary, advocating for the proper care and support of our patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, setting measurable goals to track their progress.
  • Document all patient interactions thoroughly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all confidentiality regulations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patients feel safe and respected in their treatment journey.
  • Verify patients' mental health history and medication usage, creating a comprehensive understanding of their needs before treatment.
  • Prepare regular and special reports as required, offering insights into patient progress and overall outcomes.
  • Collaborate with nursing and mental health staff to coordinate post-release referrals, ensuring a continuum of care for patients transitioning back into their communities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Healing Garden, you will serve a diverse range of patients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
