This position operates within a remote telehealth framework, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in providing mental health services. All patient interactions will occur through secure virtual platforms designed to maintain confidentiality and provide an effective therapeutic environment. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team remotely while playing an essential role in our comprehensive telehealth services, which include but are not limited to therapy sessions, assessments, and care coordination.

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to implement and coordinate mental health treatment plans both within and outside the organization.
• Conduct mental health in-service training sessions for our medical, psychiatric, and security teams as required, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues.
• Act as a critical intervention specialist during mental health emergencies that may arise, using de-escalation techniques to manage acute situations effectively.
• Represent the organization during commitment hearings when necessary, advocating for the proper care and support of our patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, setting measurable goals to track their progress.
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all confidentiality regulations.
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring patients feel safe and respected in their treatment journey.
• Verify patients' mental health history and medication usage, creating a comprehensive understanding of their needs before treatment.
• Prepare regular and special reports as required, offering insights into patient progress and overall outcomes.
• Collaborate with nursing and mental health staff to coordinate post-release referrals, ensuring a continuum of care for patients transitioning back into their communities.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Healing Garden, you will serve a diverse range of patients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our commitment to cultural competence allows you to provide tailored care that respects and understands the unique backgrounds of each individual, facilitating more effective therapeutic relationships and outcomes.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Colorado is essential.
• At least two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, is mandatory.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly desirable to enhance our service offerings.
• Experience in providing telehealth services is a plus, as we value professionals familiar with the nuances of remote counseling.

The Healing Garden Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
