Position Overview

A Better Way Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our expanding team. As a full-time remote therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mental health care and support to clients facing diverse challenges. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies via secure online platforms, adapting to each clientโ€™s unique circumstances and preferences.
  • Collaborate actively with clients to set therapeutic goals, providing empathetic support throughout their journey.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring they align with best practices.
  • Maintain precise documentation of all therapy sessions, tracking client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Regularly engage in supervision and feedback sessions with fellow therapists to enhance skills and ensure high-quality care delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including adolescents, adults, and families experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By focusing on a client-centered approach, you will help empower individuals to overcome their challenges and achieve holistic wellness.

Qualifications
  • Active and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in remote communication techniques and virtual therapy practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients in a virtual setting.
  • Capacity for empathy, compassion, and understanding of the diverse experiences faced by clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in community health settings or with underserved populations.
  • Expertise in specific therapeutic techniques or frameworks to address a variety of mental health conditions.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy tools, ethics, and best practices in remote counseling.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 based on experience and caseload.
