New Path Counseling Services is seeking licensed mental health therapists for full-time positions within our dedicated outpatient psychiatric practice. As a mental health counselor, you will play a crucial role in improving the lives of individuals grappling with mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapies to deliver personalized care. Work Environment

This full-time remote position enables you to work from home while being actively involved in a collaborative virtual team that can flexibly respond to patientsโ€™ needs. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the requirements of patient care. Our remote working model is structured to ensure that you have all necessary resources, including access to electronic health records and support systems, to maintain an effective therapeutic practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to precisely identify each patient's condition, needs, and goals, thus guiding the creation of personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions, helping patients to understand their conditions and build communal support systems.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychologists to assure cohesive and comprehensive mental health care.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and solutions during a patient's mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and how to access community resources available to them.
  • Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards by documenting patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and confidentially.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A completed Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Possession of current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment techniques.
  • Proven capability in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and in developing effective treatment strategies tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 โ€“ 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
