New Wave Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide comprehensive counseling services remotely. This full-time role offers you the flexibility to work from home while delivering therapeutic interventions to individuals and couples dealing with a variety of mental health issues. Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Provide individual and couples therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients navigate their personal challenges.
  • Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress, ensuring responsiveness to their evolving needs.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of client interactions, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans, to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare professionals as needed, providing holistic care and ensuring a coordinated approach to treatment.
  • Offer crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying updated with the latest trends and research in marriage and family therapy.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and well-being, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.
  • Foster a secure and confidential virtual therapy environment, utilizing telehealth platforms that prioritize client confidentiality.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Marriage and Family Therapist with New Wave Therapy Services, you will work primarily with a diverse range of clients, including teenagers navigating adolescence, adults coping with life transitions, and couples seeking to strengthen their relationships. Your role is pivotal in addressing mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma. By tailoring your approach to each client's unique circumstances, you will contribute significantly to their emotional resilience and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is required.
  • Proficiency in providing individual and couples therapy.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage timely completion of assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adeptly utilize electronic health records systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with both children and adults in a therapeutic setting.
  • Proven effectiveness in developing and implementing client-centered treatment plans.
  • Previous exposure to crisis intervention strategies and techniques.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time LMFT position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
