Impact Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental and emotional health to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver individual therapy sessions addressing a variety of mental health challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.

• Facilitate couples therapy to enhance communication skills, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships, drawing on your expertise to foster understanding.

• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring adherence to all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Regularly review and modify treatment plans based on client feedback and progress, ensuring that all interventions are relevant and effective.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.

• Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and enhance client outcomes.

• Stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques, research findings, and best practices in marriage and family therapy to enhance service delivery.

• Participate in professional development and training initiatives to further enhance your expertise and therapeutic skills.

The clients at Impact Counseling Services range from teens facing adolescent challenges, individuals seeking personal growth, to couples navigating relationship dynamics. As an LMFT, you will engage with a diverse group, providing customized therapy to meet their unique needs. Your empathetic approach and ability to build rapport will empower clients to discuss their issues openly and work collaboratively towards meaningful solutions.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the California State Board is required.

• Proven experience in providing individual and couples therapy, demonstrating effective communication and therapeutic skills.

• Ability to conduct timely assessments and effectively manage clinical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas in an accessible manner.

• At least one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within outpatient therapy.

• Familiarity with remote therapy delivery and digital tools that enhance client engagement and communication.

• Experience working with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k) plan, health insurance options, and continued education support.
