Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while engaging in both telemedicine and in-person client interactions as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to effectively evaluate patients’ mental health status.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and employ evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique needs, ensuring effective management of mental health diagnoses.
• Accurately document all treatment records, reports, and clinical information in a timely manner, utilizing current electronic health record systems to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with patients and interdisciplinary teams to create and adjust comprehensive treatment plans that encompass individual needs and culturally relevant considerations.
• Facilitate patient safety by anticipating and addressing potential challenges in symptoms, working within a multidisciplinary team environment to achieve set goals.
• Act as a liaison between patients and various treatment providers, coordinating referrals and building strong relationships across healthcare disciplines.
• Mentor and provide education to students and interns, supporting the next generation of mental health professionals.
• Engage in clinical collaboration, peer reviews, and chart audits as directed by clinical supervisors to enhance team growth and development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Impact Counseling Services, you will engage with a varied patient population that includes individuals grappling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will contribute significantly to developing individualized treatment plans that take into account the cultural diversity and specific needs of our clients. Your role will be instrumental in promoting positive mental health outcomes through tailored interventions and a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Two years of applicable experience in a clinical setting, providing mental health counseling.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• No exposure to blood-borne pathogens while performing job duties.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth practices and electronic health record systems.
• Familiarity with community health settings and collaborative care models.
• Previous mentorship of junior staff or interns.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
