• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients to identify mental health issues and co-occurring disorders, ensuring a tailored approach to each individual’s therapy plan.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, integrating therapeutic techniques that address addiction recovery and mental health challenges.
• Facilitate individual therapy and group therapy sessions, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster personal growth and recovery.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adapting treatment strategies when necessary to meet evolving client needs.
• Coordinate with a network of healthcare professionals, contributing your insights to provide a holistic approach to client care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, recovery processes, and coping strategies, paving the way for sustainable recovery.
• Ensure all client records are maintained with accuracy and confidentiality, complying with legal and ethical standards.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited university.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in New York.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on addiction recovery and co-occurring disorders.

• Additional certifications or training in specialized therapeutic methods relevant to mental health or addiction counseling.
