This position is uniquely structured to be fully remote, allowing our therapists to work from the comfort of their own home while reaching clients across New Jersey. The remote setting requires proficiency with video conferencing tools and secure messaging platforms, specifically using the Simple Practice system, which streamlines appointment scheduling, documentation, and billing processes.

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate client needs, mental health history, and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that foster client growth and recovery.
• Offer individual and group therapy sessions using effective therapeutic modalities to address various mental health challenges.
• Utilize telehealth tools to maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring continuity of care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in alignment with best practices and clinical standards.
• Participate in regular supervision and case consultations with fellow mental health professionals.
• Promote resource access for clients, connecting them to additional support services as needed.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Intercare Health Services, you will work with a diverse client population, including teenagers, adults, and couples. Your focused interventions will be tailored to address a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. • Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, or Social Work is preferred.
• Strong skills in treatment planning and mental health counseling.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored to virtual interactions.
• Comfort with technology, including telehealth platforms and secure communication channels.
• A commitment to delivering respectful and culturally competent care to clients.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in psychotherapy or counseling.
• Familiarity with conducting remote or telehealth services is an advantage.
• Experience in managing a caseload that reflects a variety of presenting issues among children, adolescents, and adults.
