This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth across both strategic, complex deals and high-velocity transactional sales. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at solving complex problems, and builds consensus across teams and stakeholders. Reporting to senior sales leadership, the Specialty Sales Manager ensures disciplined sales execution, fosters a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and plays a key role in aligning cross-functional go-to-market efforts.
Key Responsibilities

  • Drive consistent sales execution across both high-volume transactional deals and complex strategic opportunities.
  • Own pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and deal progression for both teams, ensuring disciplined use of CRM tools and sales methodology.
  • Personally engage on key opportunities, supporting representatives through deal strategy, executive alignment, and close plans.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Success to align go-to-market efforts and remove friction from the sales process.
  • Partner with Sales Development to optimize top-of-funnel activity and ensure pipeline coverage across both product lines.
  • Develop a deep understanding of each product's value proposition and positioning, enabling teams to articulate differentiated outcomes to buyers across industries and roles.
  • Champion a learning culture by staying current on industry trends, competitive positioning, and customer challenges, and actively sharing insights across the organization.
  • Identify patterns across deals, objections, and market feedback to refine messaging, playbooks, and team enablement.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of sales management experience with a proven track record of developing representatives and improving team performance.
  • Demonstrated success managing both transactional, high-volume sales cycles and longer, complex strategic deals.
  • Proven ability to coach across different selling styles, skill levels, and product motions.
  • Background in B2B software, SaaS, or technology sales.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and a data-driven approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling into oil and gas, construction and engineering, or utilities verticals.
  • Familiarity with PPM (Project Portfolio Management) solutions or field data capture/inspection tools.
  • Experience working in a vertical-focused or industry-specific go-to-market structure.
