Job description

Technical Project Manager

LTT Partners | Portland, OR (Remote-first with local travel) | Full-Timeย

About LTT Partners

LTT Partners is a PNW based low voltage technology contractor. We design and install cameras, access control, and connectivity systems for commercial real estate, schools and municipalities โ€” and we do it across multiple states with a relatively small and nimble team.

We're a growing company that runs lean and takes our work seriously. Our primary vendor partners include Verkada and Meter. We're not a staffing agency or a software shop โ€” we're boots-on-the-ground technology installers with real project complexity, real subcontractors, and real client relationships to manage.

The Role

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who can own projects from estimate handoff through final closeout โ€” keeping installs on time, on budget, and leaving clients confident in what was built.

This is a remote-first position, but you'll be in the Portland market and on-site when it matters. You'll work directly with our field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. You won't be managing software sprints โ€” you'll be managing conduit pulls, camera placements, switch deployments, and punch lists.

Year-one success looks like: projects closing on time with clean documentation, subcontractor costs staying inside estimates, and clients who come back.

What You'll Do

Own project schedules, budgets, and deliverables from kickoff through closeout

Coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, and vendors across concurrent projects

Conduct or support site walkthroughs, scope reviews, and install planning

Track costs against estimates and flag margin risk early

Manage client communication โ€” setting expectations, providing updates, handling issues

Drive project closeout: punch lists, as-builts, documentation, and warranty handoff

Identify process gaps and help build the playbooks that fix them

Requirements

Currently lives in the Portland, OR metro

4+ years of project management experience in construction, electrical, or a related trade environment

Hands-on experience with project estimating, owning change orders.

Comfortable managing subcontractors and holding them accountable to scope and schedule

Strong written communication โ€” client-facing emails and internal documentation you'd be proud to put your name on

Proficiency with spreadsheets for budget tracking, scheduling, and reporting

Nice to Have

Low voltage, AV, or security/surveillance installation background

Familiarity with cloud-managed technology platforms (Verkada, Meraki, or similar)

Experience working in a small or mid-size contractor environment

PMP or equivalent certification

Why LTT Partners

We're a company that's grown steadily because we do good work and treat people well. You'll have real ownership here โ€” not a layer of bureaucracy between you and the decisions that matter. If you want to build something, we're the kind of place where that's possible.

LTT Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
