Job Summary

As a member of the Engagement Management Delivery team, the Technical Program Manager 2 (TPM2) supports the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs that span multiple internal teams, external partners, and business stakeholders. This role provides the structure, coordination, and communication necessary to keep initiatives aligned with business priorities, technical requirements, and delivery commitments.
The TPM2 partners closely with engineering, product, operations, quality assurance, and external partner teams to manage program milestones, dependencies, risks, and execution activities. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving alignment across multiple workstreams.

Job Description

This role is located in our cutting-edge Comcast Technology Center in downtown Philadelphia and requires regular in-office presence. It is not open to remote or Virtual employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of technical programs from initiation through launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, milestone tracking, action item registers, RAID logs, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned to stakeholder and partner expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, driving alignment, accountability, and successful program outcomes.
  • Manage dependencies across engineering, product, quality assurance, operations, and external partner organizations.
  • Identify, assess, document, communicate, and help mitigate program risks, issues, and obstacles that may impact delivery timelines or business commitments.
  • Track program progress, monitor critical path activities, and recommend adjustments needed to achieve program objectives.
  • Support backlog visibility, prioritization discussions, sprint planning activities, and milestone readiness efforts.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, status reports, and communications that provide visibility into program health, milestones, key decisions, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, actions, and escalation paths.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Excel, and PowerPoint to drive transparency, accountability, and program reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior team members and cross-functional partners to define goals, success criteria, and delivery expectations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance program delivery processes, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
  • Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills to address issues, drive resolution, and support successful program outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in technical program management, project management, product operations, engineering operations, or a related delivery-focused role.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, dependencies, risks, action items, and program communications across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging for technical teams, business stakeholders, external partners, and executive audiences.
  • Experience using project and program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment across teams without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, collaborative mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve processes and outcomes.
