Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains and updates Confluence pages, trackers, and documentation systems 
  • Ensures accuracy, completeness, and organization of team knowledge resources 
  • Supports data analysis by running basic SQL queries and performing data validation 
  • Assists in documenting data issues, findings, and resolutions 
  • Tracks and updates the status of data quality issues and state interactions 
  • Supports mid- and senior-level Technical Assistants in issue resolution efforts 
  • Handles lower-complexity, well-defined data issues 
  • Learns Medicaid data structures, policies, and team workflows 

Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

  • All candidates must pass public trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government. This requires candidates to either be U.S. citizens or pass clearance through the Foreign National Government System which will require that candidates have lived within the United States for at least 3 out of the previous 5 years, have a valid and non-expired passport from their country of birth and appropriate VISA/work permit documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, healthcare, biology, or other related scientific or technical discipline 
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or related field 
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow established processes, maintain accurate documentation, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to work in a changing environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management software, status reporting, scheduling, management, implementation, and administration 
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence 
  • Experience with Agile and particularly SAFe methodology 
  • Experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or healthcare industry 
  • Exposure to healthcare or Medicaid data 
  • Experience with data visualization and tools, including creating and maintaining dashboards 
  • Experience with data management systems and analysis or statistical tools 
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and answer questions  
  • Experience identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements 

Working Environment:
eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by manager.


Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 5% per year.
