Job description

At NorthBay Health the Radiologic Technologist  III will report to the Radiology Supervisor and will perform general radiographic studies, fluoroscopic studies, bedside radiography and CT Heads to established QA criteria.  Completes radiographs, print images, organizes patient data, completes required documentation and charges.  Responsible for patient safety and well being during examinations.  Assists and instructs patients during examinations.  Assists with clerical duties.  Reports all equipment malfunctions.  Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.

Compensation Structure

NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1-5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.

Education: 

  1. Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course.

Licensure/Certification: 

  1. California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
  2. California Fluoroscopic Permit
  3. AART Radiography (R)
  4. AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required

Experience: 

  1. Five or more years of experience in general radiology
  2. Minimum one year of experience performing CAT Scan head exams

Skills: 

  1. Basic clerical and computer experience.
