Position Overview

Join the Platform Strategy & Technology Partnerships team at Autodesk, where you will be responsible for supporting critical technology partnership initiatives. This role involves executing engagements with strategic technology partners supporting cross-functional co-innovation and co-marketing work. You will report to the Director, Strategic Alliances & Partnerships.

This role is highly cross-functional, supporting partnership initiatives across multiple teams, carrying project management and partner relationship management responsibilities to ensure product & platform teams are supported and engagements are kept on track and on schedule. This person will be expected to conduct research and analysis for partnership strategy engagements.

Our Strategic Alliances & Partnerships team focuses on co-innovation efforts to accelerate the business's objectives as well as go-to-market motions to amplify partnership activities and drive new revenue growth.

Preferred locations are Toronto, Oregon, or Michigan (near an Autodesk hub outside of California). Candidates must be able to travel to the San Francisco office or other (mostly US-based) Autodesk locations or Partner conferences quarterly or up to monthly.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary Autodesk contact for assigned partners; escalate and coordinate cross-functional workstreams internally

  • Support partnership initiatives across the platform and product organizations.

  • Build and maintain engagement plans, and track milestones, dependencies, and KPIs.

  • Develop and update project workplans.

  • Conduct partner, competitive, and market research, and prepare executive-ready slides based on these.

  • Coordinate co-innovation pilots; gather scope and requirements from product and platform teams.

  • Define and execute on partnership co-marketing plan.

  • Drive working-level cross-functional coordination across Platform, Product, and Marketing.

  • Build presentations to communicate updates to senior level executives.

  • Build trusted working relationships at the Director / Sr. Director level across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in technology partnerships or in design/make software or adjacent hardware ecosystems

  • Experience in or exposure to technology partnerships or alliances

  • Relevant technology fluency (cloud, AI, and platform concepts)

  • Strong project management and analytical skills, with a high attention to detail

  • Clear written and verbal communication

  • Experience working in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment

  • Experience with global matrixed organizations and remote stakeholder alignment

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience or knowledge in the visualization & graphics space

  • Deep domain knowledge in AEC, MFG, and/or M&E design & make workflows

  • Track record of creating go-to-market programs with partners

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $103,000 and $183,920. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
