In this role, you will be engaged in the following key responsibilities:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to understand patient histories and current mental health statuses. This includes collaborating with the patient to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their values and goals.
• Delivering therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy tailored to individual client needs.
• Documenting all clinical interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and support continuity of care.
• Engaging in collaborative care with our multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals, to coordinate holistic treatment approaches.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to elevate the quality of care, share best practices, and foster professional growth.
• Providing educational resources and emotional support to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources.
• Keeping abreast of the latest research in mental health practices and incorporating new methodologies into your therapeutic approaches for optimal care delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of two years’ clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services in a variety of settings.
• Proficiency in evidence-based psychotherapy interventions, particularly in solution-focused techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in complex situations.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to function effectively within a remote team environment.

While not required, candidates with experience in telehealth or remote therapy sessions, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and specialized training in culturally competent care will be given preference. Additionally, experience with trauma-informed care or working with at-risk populations is highly desirable.
