Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
  • Expertise in evidence-based practices for treating co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Strong knowledge of the dynamics between mental health and substance use issues, with an ability to effectively communicate this to clients and their support systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with experience working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling and treatment for co-occurring disorders.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and a successful track record of conducting therapy sessions in a virtual environment.
