This position is 100% remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from a comfortable setting of your choosing, while still maintaining high standards of patient engagement through telehealth. Our telehealth facility leverages state-of-the-art technology to facilitate real-time interaction and support between counselors and clients, ensuring that all professional interactions are seamless and effective.

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your role will be integral to our mission and includes the following responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Monitor and analyze treatment outcomes as a member of a collaborative care team, ensuring that clients are progressing towards their goals.
• Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate and compliant medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate actively in case conferences and treatment team meetings to share insights, drive best practices, and enhance overall service delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care strategies that address the holistic needs of clients.
• Develop and implement diverse therapeutic activities, including group therapy sessions, recreational activities, and skill-building workshops tailored to client needs.
• Utilize coaching methodologies and incorporate natural environment teaching techniques to foster client engagement and growth.

Your expertise will cater to a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. This role is pivotal in addressing unique cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, ensuring each individual's case is handled with compassion and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience, demonstrating effective counseling techniques and strategies.
• Strong ability to work empathetically and effectively with individuals from various backgrounds and with unique mental health needs.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining structured documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in using medical documentation and electronic health records systems.

While the following are not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will find an edge:

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques.
• Background in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with developing and facilitating group therapy sessions.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral systems within the Riverside area.
