As a member of Horizon Mental Care Services, you will engage with a dynamic team of professionals committed to supporting the mental health of students. Although the work is remote, regular virtual meetings, supervision, and collaboration sessions will be scheduled to foster connection and teamwork among colleagues.

• Conduct initial clinical evaluations to assess students' emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs, developing tailored intervention plans based on findings.
• Facilitate and lead psychoeducational therapy groups, using proven methodologies to teach coping skills, promote self-awareness, and encourage peer support.
• Ensure effective discharge planning by working closely with students and their families to develop comprehensive understanding of coping strategies, transition plans, and available resources.
• Confirm discharge appointments proactively with students and their guardians to support a smooth transition back into their routine.
• Collaborate with referral sources and outpatient providers at all critical intervals—admission, midpoint, and discharge—to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate actively in outreach initiatives and program tours, showcasing the mental health services offered to students, schools, and families.

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents facing a range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. The LCSW will develop and implement strategies aimed at improving students' emotional regulation, resilience, and social functioning, ultimately contributing to their overall academic success and personal growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active LCSW license in California, with a deep understanding of state regulations and ethical considerations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, pivotal for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational staff.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients, fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
• Skilled in timely documentation of services, including treatment notes and progress reports, adhering to organizational standards.

• Previous experience working within educational settings or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches relevant to school-based mental health support.
• Experience with crisis intervention strategies and collaborative problem-solving techniques is advantageous.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, dependent on candidate experience and caseload management.
