This role supports the development of an AI evaluation dataset through the creation of original, expert-level multiple-choice questions in Traditional Chinese. Selected professionals will design realistic finance and accounting questions, develop plausible answer options, and provide clear worked solutions based on their academic and professional expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Create original multiple-choice questions covering Taiwanese or Hong Kong accounting and financial reporting topics
  • Develop realistic scenarios that test applied financial knowledge and professional judgement
  • Design questions requiring analysis, interpretation, or calculation rather than simple factual recall
  • Ensure accounting content is technically accurate and appropriate to the relevant jurisdiction
  • Provide clear worked solutions explaining the reasoning behind each correct answer
Audit & Assurance
  • Develop questions covering auditing principles, procedures, controls, and assurance
  • Create practical scenarios reflecting professional audit work in Taiwan or Hong Kong
  • Design credible answer choices that effectively distinguish levels of technical understanding
  • Ensure questions are clear, accurate, and appropriately challenging
  • Explain audit reasoning through structured written solutions
Taxation
  • Draft questions involving Taiwanese or Hong Kong taxation and related financial matters
  • Develop scenarios requiring practical application of relevant tax concepts and rules
  • Apply professional expertise when constructing questions, answers, and worked solutions
  • Ensure content accurately reflects the applicable jurisdiction
  • Avoid ambiguous or insufficiently supported conclusions
MCQA Development & Quality Review
  • Produce original exam-style questions with ten answer options per question
  • Identify one correct answer and construct credible alternative options
  • Provide detailed worked solutions supporting each correct response
  • Maintain consistent structure, difficulty, and quality across question sets
  • Review completed content for technical accuracy, linguistic quality, and internal consistency
  • Follow project-specific formatting and evaluation guidelines
Ideal Profile
  • Master's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a closely related discipline
  • Ideally 2+ years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, auditing, tax, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Taiwanese or Hong Kong accounting, auditing, and/or taxation
  • Native-level Traditional Chinese proficiency
  • Educated in or based in Taiwan or Hong Kong
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop technically rigorous questions and explain complex reasoning clearly
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience with professional education, assessment design, examination development, or technical content creation is advantageous
Engagement Details
  • Part-time independent contractor engagement
  • Fully remote
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Compensation: $35-$45/hour
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
  • H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
