What are remote tabletop designers?

Remote tabletop designers are professionals who create, develop, and refine tabletop games—such as board games, card games, and role-playing games—while working from a remote location. They collaborate with other designers, artists, writers, and publishers using online tools to design game mechanics, artwork, and rulebooks. Remote tabletop designers may work freelance or as part of a studio, often participating in virtual playtesting and communicating with teams and clients online.

Being proactive in providing updates and seeking input helps maintain momentum and ensures the project's vision is realized collaboratively.
