Model Based Systems Engineer
The Opportunity:
Creates, integrates, and applies interdisciplinary digital models of products from concept throughout the product lifecycle. Applies advanced advisory skills and extensive technical expertise with full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoW or government systems or capabilities
  • 2+ years of experience with practical Model Based Systems Engineering for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo
  • Experience developing enterprise or mission architectures using the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
  • Ability to critically think through the use of mission architectures and mission engineering threads to inform analysis and generate assessments that answer investigative questions pertaining to alternatives analysis, cause and effect, or capability gap identification
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Model-Based Verification and Validation
  • Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • OMG Certified Systems Model Professional (OCSMP) Certification
  • INCOSE SE Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
