What You’ll Do

Turn research into decisions. In this role, you’ll design and execute market research, uncover what’s driving our audiences, and translate data into clear, actionable insights that shape strategy and support BCSP’s mission.

Research design & execution

  • Lead end-to-end quantitative survey research—from design and questionnaire development to programming, fielding, analysis, and storytelling of results

  • Evaluate and synthesize secondary research (internal datasets, industry reports, and public sources) to support evidence-based decisions

Data analysis & insight development

  • Analyze large, complex datasets using appropriate statistical techniques to surface trends, risks, and opportunities aligned to BCSP’s mission

  • Combine qualitative and quantitative inputs to develop clear, decision-ready insights

Reporting & communication

  • Create clear research reports, visualizations, and presentations that make findings easy to understand

  • Present insights to technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring the message to the stakeholder and the decision at hand

Project leadership & collaboration

  • Manage multiple research projects at once—scoping, timelines, quality checks, and stakeholder alignment

  • Help evolve research standards, frameworks, and best practices to improve consistency and impact

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Analytics, Social Sciences, Business or related field

  • 2-5 years of experience with both primary and secondary research methods

  • Proven ability to write, program and field surveys

  • Proficiency and experience in common research and analytics tools (e.g., Qualtrics or similar survey platforms)

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets

  • Ability to translate data into clear insights, recommendations, and compelling narratives for stakeholders

  • Excellent communication and project management skills; ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines

  • Prefer proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., DisplayR, SPSS, Stata)

  • Familiarity with nonprofit, association, EHS or credentialing environments
