Job Description

The Service Strategy Consultant is a high-impact, Individual Contributor (IC) role within the Motorola Solutions Global Services team. Operating as a dedicated, hands-on portfolio specialist, this position is responsible for the direct execution of quoting, financial modeling, and ongoing lifecycle administration of the Video Security and Access Control portfolio. We believe that everything starts with our people, and this role empowers you to explore your curiosities, shape your career, and maximize your impact. The core focus is on driving the System Upgrade Agreement (VSAC-SUA) program to maximize service attachment rates, mitigate operational compliance risks, protect gross margins, and accelerate recurring revenue growth. As a trusted partner, you will provide critical program consultation to our sales and partner communities, analyzing dense datasets to deliver clear, actionable options that preserve client trust and foster horizontal collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Device Lifecycle Strategy

  • Manage the ongoing serialization maintenance, tracking, and data integrity for active ecosystem devices within contracted programs

  • Oversee a regular cadence of equipment replacement throughout the product lifecycle to mitigate operational risks

  • Consult and support the Avigilon sales and partner communities on the administration and execution of the SUA program

Financial Modeling & Quoting

  • Build, configure, and execute precise financial and cost-basis models for complex, multi-brand opportunities

  • Own bespoke contract structures and technical responses for partner issues and contract requests

  • Analyze dense data sets and translate them into clear, actionable financial and operational options for internal stakeholders

Asset Base Validation & Workflow Governance

  • Execute lifecycle and support services validation in strict accordance with the designated service scope

  • Audit and update installed base records, accurately differentiate customer-specific contracts, and analyze hardware refresh cycles

  • Coordinate technical details horizontally with Product Management, Quote-to-Cash (QTC), and Finance to prevent deployment delays

Target Base Salary Range:$100,000 - $110,000

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Security, Computer Science, or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience working in either a technical software environment, data privacy/information security systems, or video surveillance and access control support infrastructure
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
