• Conduct thorough intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and risk assessments to better understand each client's unique circumstances and challenges.
• Design and implement individualized, client-centered treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each student, ensuring alignment with their academic and personal goals.
• Provide individual, couples, or group therapy sessions drawing from evidence-based modalities, assisting clients in addressing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and familial challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with educators, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to integrate holistic support for students’ mental health into the school environment.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely documentation in compliance with the standards set forth by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Regularly participate in team meetings and peer consultation sessions, offering insights and seeking feedback to enhance clinical practice.
• Stay updated on licensure requirements and engage in continuing education efforts to ensure skills and knowledge remain current.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse and vulnerable population, primarily consisting of students experiencing various mental health issues. This role includes supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, addressing complex challenges such as trauma, social inequities, and family dynamics. • Active and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of California.
• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited program.
• In-depth understanding of trauma-informed care, systems theory, and evidence-based practices, essential for effective therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with the ability to document clinical activities accurately and ethically.
• Experience with or willingness to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information efficiently.
• A demonstrated ability to work autonomously while fostering a spirit of collaboration within a clinical team.

• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly encouraged, enhancing your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds.
