• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health concerns by establishing rapport and understanding their unique experiences and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client, utilizing evidence-based counseling methodologies.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health practices and therapies to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide referrals to additional mental healthcare providers when appropriate, fostering a comprehensive support network for clients.
• Engage actively with clients during counseling sessions, using empathy and active listening to facilitate open communication and trust.
• Participate in ongoing team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to continuously improve skills and contribute to the team’s success.

The clients you will serve at Inner Summit Counseling Services include individuals from diverse backgrounds experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with both adults and adolescents, allowing you to employ a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to different age groups and cultural contexts.

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.
• Strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to connect and establish trust with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized therapeutic interventions suited to individual client needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technology platforms to conduct virtual counseling sessions.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and adhering to professional practices.

• Experience in a telehealth or remote counseling environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of current mental health trends and treatment options relevant to a diverse client base.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Prior experience in case management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is a plus.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000, complemented by monthly productivity bonuses based on performance.
