Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work environment, allowing you to provide essential support to clients from the comfort of your home. You will collaborate with our team of mental health professionals and have access to virtual tools and resources to facilitate seamless communication and care delivery. Additionally, as part of a detox center, you will be part of a specialized team focused on assisting clients through challenging transitions toward recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients, identifying mental health needs, social determinants, and tailored treatment goals.
• Deliver one-on-one counseling, focusing on a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that address common mental health issues, foster peer support, and provide psychoeducation.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals and evidence-based interventions.
• Perform crisis intervention services, including conducting risk assessments, creating safety plans, and coordinating with emergency resources as needed.
• Advocate for clients’ rights to ensure they have access to essential services while navigating healthcare and community resources effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in client records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals who are undergoing detoxification and addressing substance use disorders. Our client-centric approach emphasizes empathy, respect, and cultural competence, ensuring that each client feels understood and valued throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated clinical experience in providing social work and counseling services, particularly in mental health settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.
• Strong commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in practice.
