We are looking for a full-time Senior Loan Processor for our Small Business Lending (SBL) office in Roseville, CA. This position is in office for local candidates or remote for candidates living elsewhere. The ideal candidate must have an advanced level of lending knowledge and must exhibit superior customer service skills and fine attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages quality control and ensures each loan and documentation package is complete with no material omissions or errors.
  • Reviews loan packages and files for compliance with SSB loan policy and, if required, SBA eligibility along with SSB loan file standards.
  • Compile and scan all credit, financial and documentation files.
  • Open Escrow/Order Preliminary Title reports.
  • Manage all third-party vendor reporting needs including but not limited to OFAC, CAIVRS and SAM searches, Flood Certifications, business & personal credit reports, UCC searches, 4506 Tax Transcripts.
  • Manage loan activity and production status reports for the department including timely follow-up with key internal and external parties.
  • Submit and coordinate commercial loan submissions, including application input through LaserPro, E-Tran, SBA One.
  • Reviews loan application file to verify that application date is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of loan, borrower assets and liabilities.
  • Verifies accuracy of information provided.
  • Works closely with all parties to assist in timely processing, credit approval, and closing of new loan requests.
  • Records data on status of loans, including number of new applications and loans approved, canceled, or denied.
  • Works closely with the Loan Operations Department to ensure SSB procedures are followed in the closing and funding of the loans.
  • May be asked to provide support for various portfolio management, loan servicing and liquidation requests. Tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

o Prepare Change in Terms, Modifications, Extensions and Renewals to existing SBL portfolio
o Follow up with third party vendors for final title policies, UCC searches to reflect, expired insurance policies etc.
o Contact existing customers in the SBL portfolio to collect outstanding financial covenants.
  • Other duties may be assigned and are not limited to those specified above.

Provide secondary support for various construction Loan Servicing activities as follows
• Perform all aspects of construction loan servicing for Commercial Lending Group.
• Create and maintain budget spreadsheets.
• Coordinate and monitor construction inspections with third party inspector.
• Process and draw requests.
• Monitor and track all preliminary lien notices and lien waivers (Conditional and Unconditional)
• Provide customer service for clients, inspectors, project managers and Loan Administration staff.
• Coordinate draw funding with Loan Operations staff.
• Obtain appropriate endorsements from Title Companies.
• Post monthly interest reserve transactions to client spreadsheets.
• Quarterly Construction Loan Status Report.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school and minimum three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
