Working remotely from Addison, Texas, you will engage with clients through our telehealth platform, providing services that fit their schedules. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ history of substance abuse and mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that simultaneously address addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing proven methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI).
• Collaborate seamlessly with other treatment team members including physicians, nurses, and case managers to ensure holistic care.
• Educate and support clients' families to enhance their understanding and involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.

You will be working primarily with adults afflicted by substance use disorders. Many clients face additional obstacles related to their mental health, such as depression, anxiety, or trauma. Your role will be crucial in tailoring therapeutic interventions to engage these clients effectively, fostering resilience and promoting sustainable recovery.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly in addiction or substance abuse treatment.

• Specialized training in addiction counseling, including familiarity with evidence-based practices for addressing co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Strong skills in therapeutic techniques, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and motivate clients towards recovery.
• A comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements concerning substance abuse treatment.
