As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and mental health needs.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans focused on both addiction recovery and underlying mental health challenges.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure an integrated, holistic care plan for each client.
• Providing education and support to clients' families, encouraging their involvement in the recovery process, which significantly enhances treatment effectiveness.
• Maintaining meticulous and accurate client records in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Your role will focus primarily on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, as well as those facing co-occurring mental health conditions. You will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your approach to effectively address each individual's unique challenges and circumstances. The aim is to help clients build resilience and establish healthy coping mechanisms while supporting their overall well-being.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• A valid independent license to practice as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• Specialized training in addiction counseling and demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices for effectively treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills and the ability to motivate clients throughout their recovery journey.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.

While not mandatory, preferences will be given to candidates with:

• Previous experience working within a substance abuse treatment setting.
• Proficiency in telehealth services and digital tools for psychotherapy.
• Additional certifications related to trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic methodologies relevant to addiction recovery.
