Job description

The Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, high-performing Director of Business Development to drive enterprise-level sales for our "Brand Logistics" division. We don't just sell warehouse space or promo pens - we sell seamless, end-to-end execution. In this role, you will sell high-value, integrated programs that combine custom merchandise sourcing with our in-house assembly, kitting, printing and distribution capabilities. (new-hire onboarding kits, VIP gifting programs, custom marketing kits, sales enablement kits, product sample programs, and subscription boxes.). You will target enterprise decision-makers across Marketing, HR, Sales, and Procurement, showing them the immense ROI of consolidating their fragmented promo vendors and 3PL providers into one seamless, automated solution.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Prospecting: Identify, target, and acquire mid-market and enterprise B2B accounts that require multi-component kitting programs (e.g., employee onboarding kits, influencer marketing packages, sales enablement kits, and VIP client gifts).

Consultative Program Design: Partner with client leadership to design end-to-end brand logistics programs, balancing custom merchandise selection, high-end unboxing presentations, and cost-effective shipping strategies.

Technology & Storefront Integration: Pitch and introduce our corporate online store capabilities, helping clients automate "kit-on-demand" triggers for their global remote teams and sales reps.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our internal purchasing, graphic design, and warehouse operations teams to transition new client accounts smoothly and ensure flawless execution.

Pipeline & Revenue Management: Maintain an active pipeline in our CRM, accurately forecast quarterly revenue, and consistently meet or exceed aggressive gross margin targets.

Proven track record of selling complex, multi-component programs (like corporate stores or ongoing onboarding programs) rather than just transactional, one-off orders.

Familiarity with online swag portals, custom packaging design, and basic kitting workflows.

A little about us...

CI-Group is a leading provider of end-to-end Brand Logistics, specializing in high-touch warehousing, custom fulfillment, and enterprise branded merchandise. We don't just warehouse boxes or print logos on pens, we build turnkey execution systems for mid-market and enterprise organizations. From sourcing premium corporate swag to custom-assembling complex sales, onboarding, and marketing kits, our in-house facility gives clients a single, flawless partner to manage their entire physical brand presence.

  • Experience: 5+ years of B2B sales experience in either enterprise Promotional Products/Swag Program sales OR specialized 3PL/Kitting Fulfillment services. Candidates with hands-on experience across both will be given top priority.
  • Track Record: Proven history of closing high-value B2B contracts with an average annual contract value (ACV) of $100,000+.
  • Technical Aptitude: Understanding of corporate swag portals, e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), basic API integrations, and warehouse management metrics.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a comfortable, consultative approach when presenting to C-suite, VP, and Director-level buyers.
