The school-based work environment requires collaboration with educators, administrators, and parents to foster a comprehensive support system for students. You will utilize teletherapy tools and digital platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring that effective therapy reaches those who need it most.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of students to understand their mental health concerns, strengths, and resources.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy tailored for the school environment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include clear goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, educators, and school administrators to ensure holistic care for students.
• Facilitate psychoeducation classes and group therapy sessions that equip students with coping strategies and resilience-building skills.
• Offer crisis intervention and safety planning for students experiencing acute distress or risk factors.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to comply with ethical standards and legal requirements.

The primary focus of this role will be on school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related difficulties. You will support students in finding effective coping mechanisms and strategies to address their challenges, fostering their emotional and academic success.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure in the state of Florida as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally with school-aged clients.
• A robust understanding of evidence-based therapies and treatment methodologies pertinent to a school environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, parents, educators, and healthcare professionals.

• Experience working in a school or educational setting, facilitating therapy and support for students.
• Proven ability to engage with diverse populations from varying socio-economic backgrounds.
• Familiarity with digital tools and platforms commonly used for teletherapy.
