In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities designed to meet the diverse needs of the students. Your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each student's unique circumstances.
• Implementing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address a wide range of mental health challenges, enabling students to build coping strategies and resiliency.
• Maintaining precise clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality while also supporting the continuity of care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of educators and mental health professionals to create a holistic plan of care for students, facilitating regular meetings to discuss treatment progress and challenges.
• Participating in ongoing case consultations and peer review discussions to refine treatment strategies and share insights, thereby enhancing the overall quality of care provided to students.
• Educating students and their families on mental health issues, resources, and community services available to support their journeys, equipping them with the knowledge to navigate their challenges effectively.
• Staying informed about the latest developments in psychology and counseling techniques, incorporating this knowledge into practice to ensure the use of best practices in therapy.

Your primary focus will be on children, adolescents, and their families, addressing issues like anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, and other mental health conditions that hinder academic and personal progress. Your compassionate involvement will not only facilitate healing but also promote academic success and personal growth among the students you serve.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, reflecting a strong foundation in mental health and social services.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida, demonstrating your compliance with professional standards and practices.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience supporting individuals in managing mental health issues, showcasing your expertise and capability in providing meaningful interventions.
