As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Providence Counseling, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand clients’ mental health concerns, resulting in the development of personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Implementing therapeutic strategies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and upholding confidentiality in all patient interactions.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team which includes psychologists and psychiatrists, to create integrated care plans that promote holistic healing.
• Participating in ongoing case consultations and peer review meetings to elevate care standards and share best practices across the team.
• Providing education and resource referrals to students and their families, helping them navigate mental health challenges and understand available options.
• Staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health research, integrating new methodologies into your practice to enhance the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

This role primarily focuses on supporting students in school settings, addressing challenges that may impact their educational performance and social development. By working closely with children and adolescents, you play a vital role in identifying issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma, and guiding them towards meaningful resolutions.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating your commitment to professional excellence.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, showing your proficiency in dealing with case management and diverse patient populations.
• Deep understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions and techniques adapted for children and adolescents.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
