The Recovery Care Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time, remote position within a school setting in Baltimore, Maryland. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health status, strengths, challenges, and specific needs, ensuring an individualized approach to care.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, educators, and other health professionals to develop and deliver coordinated treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management to empower informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities that are tailored to the unique experiences of children and adolescents.
  • Design and develop actionable treatment plans in partnership with the treatment team, taking into account patient goals, preferences, and cultural considerations.
