• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students, recognizing and identifying mental health concerns that may impact their academic performance.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address individual student needs, utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique situations.
• Implement therapy sessions via telehealth, providing solutions-focused psychotherapy to guide students through challenges related to trauma, anxiety, and depression.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with all federal and state regulations, ensuring all documentation reflects the highest standards of professional practice.
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to create a holistic support system for each student.
• Educate students and their families about mental health resources and support systems available, fostering a community of understanding and compassion.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health care and implement best practices in your day-to-day interactions with clients.

The primary focus of this position is to work with a diverse student population ranging from elementary through high school. Many of our clients may face emotional and psychological barriers that affect their academic performance and day-to-day functioning. As a Clinical Social Worker, your role will be critical in offering the necessary support and interventions to help these students thrive both in school and beyond.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC license within the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working in mental health, preferably in educational settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions tailored for children and adolescents.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students, parents, and educators.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to navigate complex student needs and behavior challenges.
• A passion for collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and contributing positively to a collective mission.

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a school or educational setting. Familiarity with telehealth practices and using digital platforms for therapy sessions will also be beneficial.
